Briançon is classified as a UNESCO world heritage site

On 7 July 2008, the city of Briançon was listed with other Vauban fortifications as part of UNESCO’s world heritage. With the awarding of this title, numerous efforts have been planned to conserve the works left by Marshal Vauban. The Briançon heritage department can give theme-centred visits.

The Grands Bains de Monetier, a place of well-being

The Baths of Monetier were entirely renovated in 2008 in order to be able to open its doors to you this winter at Serre Chevalier 1500. The establishment has all the equipment you could want for having fun, relaxing and caring for the mind and body: whirlpool baths, indoor and outdoor hot pools at 37°C (99°F), fun play areas, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam baths and spa and cosmetic treatments.
